No washing my hair for 2 days following treatment? Is it better to leave it longer or is the treatment best removed to avoid further damage. Should the first wash be fairly rigorous to remove chemicals or gentle to avoid hair loss. Brushing as against combing. Best oils and treatments? How often? I would so like to care for the look rather than suffering breakage and loss. Thanks

Im considering having the LHT treatments for my thinning hair and was wondering if anyone has any feedback or experience with this kind of technology? It does cost quite a bit, therefore I would like to hear different opinions from people who had it done or are experienced with that relatively new technology? Please let me know what kind of results (if any) should I expect also what are some good places to have it done (I live in the Chicago area)? And does it really stop the hair loss? Any feedback is greatly appreciated! Thanks a lot!

The two most common treatments for cancer are chemotherapy and radiation therapy?

The two most common treatments for cancer are chemotherapy and radiation therapy. These treatments typically result in hair loss and/or nausea. Given that the cells of the hair follicles and the cells of the gastrointestinal lining reproduce rapidly, what can you say about the mode of action for these therapies?

Hair thinning/loss question?

Dave asked:

I have been experiencing thinning for a few years now. I used to use Nioxin, but after a while I developed seboric dermatitis and experienced extremely dry scalp and flaking. Then I switched to Arbonne shampoo and scalp treatment. It seems to be better but is so expensive. I have noticed that if I comb out all the bumps on my scalp once a week that I do not get the scaley scalp associated with seborric dermatitis. I have also been using Selsum Blue. Does anyone have any suggestions to my problem. I do not want to waste any more money on this. I have tried a bunch of alternative methods such as apple cider vinegar with no luck. Thanks
