Hair plays a significant role in our daily life. Hair disorders especially when severe often profoundly affect the life of those afflicted. Severe hair loss evokes not only cosmetic concerns but also evokes feelings of vulnerability, loss of self esteem and even self identity. The adult human body averages 5 million hair, of which 1,00,000 to 15,000 are on the scalp itself. Each hair arises from a hair root and this hair root is enclosed in a sac like structure known as hair follicle. From each hair root upto 20 hairs can come in the life cycle of a human being.

Saturday, December 10th, 2011
asked:

If you’re losing your hair then you’ve probably already done some research on the subject. You want to know if there are any cures or are you doomed to being a bald guy right? The simple truth is that right now there is no cure – as in there’s no pill that you take or lotion that you spray on your head that makes all your hair grow back.

But there are treatments out there that do actually work in helping to slow down and reverse baldness – although this can take time. The hairloss treatment we’re going to talk about here is minoxidil and whether or not it actually works.

So where did minoxidil come from? Well over 20 years ago a company called Upjohn were testing a type of heart medication called Loniten. During the clinical trials for this some patients noticed that they were growing hair back in areas that used to be bald. Now because this medication was designed to for patients with hypertension you couldn’t just give it to anyone on the street. So Upjohn mixed the loniten into a solution called minoxidil which was then rebranded as Rogaine for sale to the general public as a 2% solution that was prescription only.

Accutane can be described as synthetic form of vitamin a, that is certainly often prescribed to take care of very severe acne complications. Nonetheless, it is actually out of market in a lot of states today, primarily for its a large number of unintended effects. The fact is, there are lots of adverse reactions, because of Accutane (thinning hair problem is on the list of repeatedly recorded). Although this problem is pretty controversial and skin experts presume thatloss of hair might be linked with other causes, Accutane users nonetheless suspect that a person’s thinning hair is most likely the results of using Accutane.

It is found that women and men may well deal with baldness – Accutane adverse reaction – in the way of cure or following its consumption. However, it is additionally documented that as much as many patients going through acne breakouts concerns and going through Accutane therapy are usually youngsters and also folks in early twenties, they suffer from this condition more frequently.

Consequently, how is it actually probable to clarify the ties between Accutane andhair loss? Doctors explain that Accutane doesn’t have an affect on hair follicles, meaning thinning hair can’t be the result of follicles of hair deterioration. On the other hand, Accutane is said to cause the bad conditions for growth of hair due to its drying out effect.

Some people, undergoing Accutane therapy, detecthair losswithin the first weeks of consuming this kind of medicine. Others encounter the 1st signs and symptoms after the remedy period is passed. Medical practitioners claim it’s fairly ordinary, for the reason that our bodies need a little extra time to restart its newhair growth period. It’s difficult to estimate simply how much time a person suffering from thinning hair will need to see positive modifications, nevertheless she or he might have to wait around around 6 months right until his/her hair returns a normal growing cycle.

Perfectly logical, Accutane patients, suffering from balding, are usually concerned with regards to the link between Accutane and serioushair loss. Permanent thinning hair is seen in certain instances, which regularly frustrates them.

Occasionally balding can be a non permanent side-effect of Accutane andnatural hair growth begins following the termination of Accutane treatment plan. However, it happens to be essentially the most unfavorable side effects, spotted by girls taking Accutane. Thinning hair experience with ladies causes them to really feel distressing and quite often prevents from living their regular everyday life. So, this condition becomes emotive on top of that. If this issue destroys the common life-style therefore you presume that the conditions are linked to Accutane, hair thinning legal action is a thing you may choose in support of. never hesitate and find the top Accutane complications legal professional to get your own rights secured.

How I Stopped My Hair Loss and Re Grew My Hair

Saturday, September 17th, 2011
asked:

Hair loss is a part of life for many of us. We often wonder, once the hair loss process has began will be able to stop it, and will we ever get our hair back. In woman, this can be a lot more embarrassing, stressful and difficult to deal with than in men, simply due to the fact that hair loss in men is generally accepted. For women, most of us see our hair as our crowning beauty. I have often heard it said that “a woman’s hair is the beauty of her face.” Personally, I don’t think that this is necessarily true. In men, the main reasons for hair loss are hereditary and age. In women, there can be a bit more varying reasons, such as, stress, age, menopause and child birth, to name a few.

The scientific reason behind hair loss in both men and woman is a chemical in our bodies called (Dihydrotestoterone) DHT. DHT is a naturally occurring chemical used elsewhere in the body, but it actually damages the hair follicles and causes them to become less efficient at getting the nutrients they need. Also as we age, our blood vessels become narrower and more clogged, which makes it even more difficult for the follicles. There are many products on the market today, which are said to prevent hair loss and re grow hair in men and women. If you are experiencing, or have experienced hair loss, then you know that many of these products do not live up to the hype!

Let me share a personal story with you. I am a mother of two. My children’s ages are 5 years and 1 year. Six weeks after my eldest child was born, I noticed that I was loosing my hair. I became frantic. It was not just falling out sparingly; it was coming out in clumps. The more I combed, the more it came out…from all over my head! I did not know what to do. I was forced to come to the realization that this process, whatever it was, had began. Either I deal with this now, or, not comb my hair for a while and pretend it wasn’t happening, but I knew that whenever I started to comb again, I would be pulling out bigger and bigger clumps of hair. I decided what the heck! The sooner I get it all out, the sooner I can decide what to do about what’s left. After nearly a week of this, it finally stopped. Yep! I was practically bald. There were strands hair on the crown of my head and my sides looked as if they had been shaved as far back as behind my ears. The lower back of my head came through this ordeal pretty good though. Not much missing there. Yes, you guessed it. Wigs and caps became by best friends for the next few months. Why that long, you might ask. Well, once my shedding had stopped, I started to try all sorts of different products. I tried sprays, shampoos, pills, jells, you name it, I tried it. None of them worked like they promised. They all helped a bit, but they didn’t fully re grow my hair. One day a friend referred me to this product called Provillus. I was already frustrated with all the other products and had decided to accept my condition. After much back and forth with my friend, I decided to try this one last product. If this didn’t work, then that would be it.
