Yes, they lose hair. And yes, it will grow back. Sometimes it comes back differently, but it will come back.

An unfortunate side effect however you wish too your hair pieces etc and you can be referred.

My cousin went for chemo to cover up she lost all her hair fine and soft hope that answer your question.
