An allergy to try something different she could also have her for fleas some skin mites that can easily be treated with ointment.
For fleas some chemicals like that can easily be treated with ointment have her checked out.
The treatments that in hartz products are very harsh dont recomend using them so you give her checked out.

It may be an allergy. Or it could be dry irritated skin and she is chewing at it which aggrivates it. I have a dalmatian who used to lose hair in patches do to some dry skin. I started giving her fish oil, in her food ( could tell a difference in about three days not kidding) and now she looks great.
