Hair loss caused by medication?

i’m 18 when i was 17 i had bad acne and was given accutane for 6 months. during the period the side effects were strong. one side effect was minor hair loss. it’s slightly odd. but one side of my hair line has started receding and the other one hasn’t been affected. it is growing back however quite slowly. my question is what are the chances of it growing back fully. and can it become worse after i’ve stopped taking my treatment. bearing in mind im only 18.
