hair loss
i_need_answers asked:

I need a shampoo that works in both hair loss and dadruff. I can’t use two shampoos at once. I tried it and my hair breakage increased. Currently I am using Head & Shoulders. Can you please suggest one?

Also Does Dove help to volumize hair? If so which one (please tell me by its colour)? Should I use it ?

Is it possible to have female pattern hair loss with new growth?

I’ve started losing my hair (breakage) due to a bad perm. On the sides of my head and in top. At first I thought it was female pattern hair loss, but then I have lots of new growth. Can you have female pattern hair loss and new growth at the same time? Oh and by the way, I’m also thinking of trying aphogee hair products. If anyone has heard of it, let me know.

Should I cut my hair close and start from scratch?

To understand my concern, here is the history. I used to have fairly healthy hair; the most I did was dying it about every 4-months with salon-grade products (black, which I know can be harsh). I used color-treatment shampoos and tried to be gentle but still experienced hair breakage. Not a lot, but only washing my hair every 3-days helped (otherwise it got too dry).

I got a perm several months ago, and found my hair began breaking-off severely. Even running my fingers through it caused breakage, close to the scalp, so I had little patches of bristles sticking-up. I got my hair trimmed to relieve the weight (from shoulder to ear length) and to try and cut-out some of the perm. I’ve used a reconstructing conditioner, leave-in conditioner, etc. to try and halt the damage. Recently I’ve noticed I’m having almost as much hair coming-out at the roots as breakage. It’s not coming-out in patches; it seems evenly distributed, and it doesn’t look like I’m losing hair/going bald. But I am concerned. I still dye my hair; I have to I have so much gray, but I leave it in the proper time. I am only 27. I’ve looked-up reasons for hair loss/breakage and it seems the most likely reasons for me are stress, hair dying, hormones or possibly iron deficency.

I don’t think I can save/stop my current dyed/permed hair from breaking and pulling-out. I am considering cutting my hair close to the scalp and letting it grow again naturally, and not dye it. I do not want gray hair, but I also don’t want to damage my new hair with dying. I’ve tried store brands and salon brands. I want to look nice without hurting my hair, and I’m embarassed to cut all my hair off. Right now it seems like the only way to grow healthy hair again. Please, any suggestions?

Bleaching hair at home how to?

honhill asked:

First off let me say that I have medically induced hair loss, my hair isn’t growing back after 2 years of treatment, so I am not afraid of hair breakage or damage LOL! I usually wear blonde extensions or a full on wig, but i have started exercising outdoors more and that is hot. I have naturally medium to dark brown hair. I want to bleach out my hair and wear it tucked up under a cap when I am out running (it will be cooler than wearing extensions, partial wig, etc.) so there won’t be a HUGE difference in “look she has dark hair when she’s running and light hair when she is going out” I had my hair bleached/colored at the salon, but it is sooo expensive, especially since i already pay a lot for my extensions and wigs. How can I get my hair to a platinum blonde at home? I greatly appreciate any tips!

uk baby ? asked:

Any hair treatment thats good?

I really don’t confide much in Shampoos or none of that. But does anyone know on any natural products or homemde products?

I tried some natural homemade, and it made my hair very soft. I need something for hair loss, shine, breakage, and also damaged.

Thank You, and best answer will receive points!
