I recently noticed that I have been loosing quite a bit of hair towards the front of my scalp. I tried the volume shampoo and conditioners and it helped a little but I really want to kick this problem before it gets worse. What kind of doctor is the best one to go to for hair loss. I really do not think its so serious where I need to go to an actual “hair loss” company. Lets just say there is enough hair missing that my mom pulled me aside and talked to me about it.

When a cancer patient undergoes radiation treatments, do they lose their hair? My mom is getting radiation on her hip for bone cancer and we were trying to think if she will lose her hair again or not. The first/last time she had radiation it was on her breast, right after her chemo so she was already bald. Does anyone know if radiation on a lower part of the body causes baldness?
