I am having dandruff.. i browsed net and then found “APPLE CIDER VINEGAR” as a good treatment for dandruff.. I am currently living in NEW ZEALAND. I got raw apple cider vinegar (mother vinegar) and used it for two times after shampooing.. From that onwards,(past three weeks) I am losing much hair after wash.. really very much of hair loss on the day of shampooing. i have also been using olive oil scalp treatment before taking head bath for past 3 months.. I am from India.. have moved to new zealand 2 months back. some of my friends say that different water in New Zealand did not suit my hair. but before using vinegar everything was fine for first three weeks in new zealand(before using apple cider). so what should i do now to prevent this greater hair loss cos of vinegar? any one have similar experience? i am using head and shoulder and dove conditioner.though olive oil,head and shoulder did not treat my dandruff they did not induce greater hairloss too.. i have stopped using apple cider vinegar.. have used it only twice on my head.. it did not treat dandruff also.. so friends what can i do to stop my hair loss? i am worried for washing my head because of this:-(

Sonia asked: I am a 22 year old woman…Recently I am suffering from heavy hair loss due to increased dandruff..I am exercising 5 days a week and so perspire a lot which has increased dandruff too…
Last week I started putting a mixture of Castor oil, Almond oil, Olive oil and Coconut oil on my head and then wash it off with Anti Dandruff shampoo from Body Shop for reducing hair fall..
I also put a mixture of curd and lemon for dandruff for half an hour once a week and then wash it off with Anti Dandruff shampoo
I have 3 questions….
1) Is the above treatment best for me?
2) How often can I wash my hair a week..Is four times a week fine
3) Can I use the same Anti Dandruff shampoo all the time or have to change the shampoo every week or so..
Please help

I read in a book if you vigorously scratch your scalp with the back of your hands facing each other and your nails rubbing like opposing rows that it can help increase circulation to your roots. Does this seem stupid or a good idea? Paired with olive oil hot oil treatment and some niceeee scalp massages haha? (and of course green tea to ward off DHT!)

I just recently had a child and at the beginning of my pregnancy (didn’t know I was pregnant) I put in a relaxer (Olive Oil) and my hair fell out. Once I knew I was pregnant I would straighten my hair with a hot comb when my hair started to grow back. I have since given birth and tried gentle treatment relaxer and it seemed ok (hair didn’t fall out but hair wasn’t really straight) but when I needed another touch up I could not find gentle treatment so I had a friend put in Elasta QP sensitive. She roller set it so it seemed fine but when I went to wash it I had some hair loss.I tried gentle treatment again and my hair is still falling out. I have very nappy hair that usually grows fast so I need a relaxer every month or I wont be able to comb it. My hair has ended up tangled and knotted a lot therefore I am losing my hair. Will I have to use a hot comb the rest of my life?

I’m having a hair loss since January this year. Center of my head there is 2inch diameter bald which growing for 1inch long now after went for injection treatment at the clinic. but three weeks a go i found a small bald near my forehead again. the bald getting bigger and now its 1cm diameter. i went to the previos clinic and they suggested to buy olive oil from the pharmacy. So i’ve been using the olive oil by masagging ii on my scalp for almost two weeks. no result yet. but i’m scared if this problem will happen again. what shoul i do?will the olive oil works?
